How to Clear False Accusations in Where Winds Meet

Got a bounty from a false accusation in Where Winds Meet? Here's how to check your Honor and post a bounty to clear your name fast.

How to Clear False Accusations in Where Winds Meet

Ever been minding your own business in Where Winds Meet, only to get slapped with a bounty for a crime you didn't commit? It's frustrating, right? Some NPCs are just looking for trouble, and before you know it, you're marked as a criminal. But don't worry—there's a quick way to clear your name before a Constable gets involved.

First, you need to know if you've been accused. Keep an eye on the top-left corner of your screen, near your compass. If you see a caution sign icon, that's your cue: you've got an accusation to deal with.

Next, open your Honor menu. You can get there via Main Menu > Develop > Details > Honor. Your accusation will be listed there, along with when the supposed crime happened and what you can do to atone. That's your starting point.

Now, here's the fix: select Post Bounty. This takes you to the Jianghu Bounty Board, where you can hire a Scholar to clear your name. It'll cost you one Bounty Token, which you can earn through seasonal activities or buy with Echo Beads.

Once you post the bounty, it stays up for thirty minutes. A Scholar with the right score needs to pick it up within that time. If someone does, they'll handle the case quickly, and your false accusation will be wiped clean.
