Where Winds Meet: Panacea Fan Guide - How to Get It & All Abilities

Ever found yourself wishing you could heal your teammates while still dealing damage? In Where Winds Meet, the Panacea Fan lets you do just that—sort of. This healing fan is a unique Martial Art that pairs well with almost any other weapon thanks to its area-of-effect healing. But how do you get it, and what makes it so special? Let's break it down.

First off, you can grab the Panacea Fan early on from Qi Sheng near the start of the campaign. He'll ask you to return a Mystic Oddity, and once you do, he'll let you pick one of four Martial Arts. The Panacea Fan is one of them. But here's the thing: we don't recommend using your free pick on it. Why? Because you can unlock it the normal way pretty early in the game, and you might want to save that freebie for something harder to get.

So, how do you unlock it the normal way? You'll need to perform a Skill Theft on a target in the Silver Needle Sanctum, which is in Qinghe. That's it—just a simple Skill Theft, and the fan is yours.

Now, what does the Panacea Fan actually do? Like its umbrella counterpart, the Soulshade Umbrella, it uses a special resource called Dew. Dew builds up as you use certain skills, and when you have enough, you can spend it to unleash Perception Skills. These are special moves that replace your regular Martial and Special Skills when they're available, and they're where the fan really shines.

To keep an eye on your Dew, just look at the Dewdrops above the weapons icon in the lower-right corner of your screen. When they're full, you're ready to unleash some serious healing.

The Panacea Fan isn't great for offense—it's pretty weak in that department. But its real strength lies in its area-of-effect healing, which makes it a fantastic off-hand weapon. Pair it with a damage-focused weapon, and you can keep yourself and your team alive while still dishing out pain.

So, whether you're a support player or just want a safety net, the Panacea Fan is a solid choice. Just remember to grab it the normal way if you can, and save your early pick for something rarer.
