How to Change Hair Color in Where Winds Meet

Ever wanted to stand out in the world of Where Winds Meet with a fresh new hair color? While the character creator gives you some options, changing your hair color later requires a bit of legwork. Here's the lowdown on what you need and how to do it.

First things first, you'll need a specific currency to change your hair color. There are two types of Hairdye items you can use:

- **Inkshade Hairdye** – lets you pick basic, muted colors. - **Timeless Hairdye** – lets you go bold with bright, vibrant colors.

You can snag these dyes from the Draw Shop. Each Inkshade Hairdye will set you back 5 Essence of Earth, while Timeless Hairdye comes in bundles of five from Hairdye Giftboxes that cost one Harmonic Core.

To get the currencies you need, open the main menu and select **Draw**. As long as you're at least Level 3, you can choose between two draw types:

- **Solemn Echo Draws** – always give you at least one Essence of Earth. They cost Resonating Melodies, which you can buy with Echo Jades found during adventures. - **Celestial Echo Draws** – give you a 0.747% chance to get a Harmonic Core. They cost Echo Beads, a premium currency you can purchase in the shop.

Once you've got your dye, it's time to change that hair! Open your **Appearance** menu and head to the **Workshop** tab.

Select **Dye**, then pick the hairstyle you want to color. Not all hairstyles can be dyed – the starter ones can't, for example. Look for a multicolored icon at the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail to know if it's dyeable.

After choosing your hairstyle, decide between Basic Hair Dye (Inkshade Hairdye) or Advanced Hair Dye (Timeless Hairdye). Then, you can customize the Basic, Gradient, and Highlights colors. Hit **Save** when you're happy with your new look.
