Arc Raiders x Subway Crossover Is Real, and It's Weird

Ever thought your favorite looter shooter would team up with a fast-food chain? Didn't think so. But here we are: Arc Raiders is getting a Subway crossover, and it's exactly as wild as it sounds.

Embark Studios just dropped the news, and it's a doozy. From now until October 26, grabbing a qualifying meal at Subway gets you a code for the Subterranean outfit—a slick new skin with yellow and green accents that scream Subway branding—plus two rotating in-game items. Not too shabby for a footlong.

Here's the deal: you've got three options to choose from. Option one gives you the Subterranean and Astrolite outfits, plus Renegade II and Medium Shield X2. Option two swaps Astrolite for Nascosto, with Canto II and Tactical Mk. 2. Option three pairs Subterranean with Rawhide, along with Osprey II and Surge Shield Recharger x2. Pick your poison.

Now, about that skin—it's got those yellow and green flourishes to match Subway's logo, and honestly, it looks pretty badass. But I can't help wishing it looked more like a sandwich. Imagine running around as a walking meatball sub. That would've been legendary.

This crossover is leading into the game's big Frozen Trail expansion, dropping October 8. Embark is also shifting to larger updates every six months or so, which is a big change from their previous stance. They used to say crossovers were a no-go because the lore was "too curated" for Fortnite-style shenanigans. Guess they changed their tune.

So, will you be grabbing a sandwich for some in-game loot? Or is this crossover a step too far? Let me know what you think!
